Milan is a metropolis and the centre of the fashion industry in northern Italy, the capital of the Lombardy region. Milan hosts a large number of works of art, history, museums, monuments, the famous extraordinary Teatro alla Scala (a famous opera or ballet theater) and large green spaces such as Parco Sempione,  as well as romantic nightlife on the Naviglio or Brera and the internationally renowned Fashion Hub.


There is quite a large choice for all tastes and prices for shopping: the most exclusive upscale boutiques around the world are located in via Montenapoleone and via della Spiga (a truly unique and extraordinary streets), along with affordable streetwear brands that are in via Torino or corso Buenos Aires, and many outlets on corso Vittorio Emanuele.


In the heart of Milan there is the fabulous and famous Piazza del Duomo enclosed by the grandiose Gothic-style Duomo from atop which one can view the city from above. Next to the Duomo is the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the oldest commercial gallery with boutiques luxury names such us Prada, Versace and others. Inside the Galleria are high quality restaurants such as The Savini, Caffe Camparino, La Galleria, Motta, Biffi and others. The Galleria connects to Piazza della Scala.

I was lucky enough to be there during the Christmas to walk through Christmas lights  in the Duomo Square and on the roof, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. Also there was The Swaroski Christmas Tree was placed in the exact center of the incredibly magnificent Gallery!
