The Abby Grind or the Abbotsford Grind Hike in Abbotsford is part of the Glen Ryder Trail and Taggart Peak. It is a favorite "cardio training" hiking route and is a decidedly less steep and less long alternative to The Grouse Grind. The route starts uphill and continues to rise rapidly in an uphill zigzag route with rapid switchbacks all the way over short 330m over a distance of 4km.
