Twin Falls Hike and The Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge are located in Lynn Canyon Park in North Vancouver. In the Park there are lots of other trails of varying length and difficulty to explore are well-marked. The prime attractions at Lynn Canyon include the Ecology Centre, Suspension Bridge, 30 Foot Pool, Twin Falls and Pipeline Bridge.


• The Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge is 50 meters high and 137 meters long. It is a wooden plank bridge originally built in 1912 and is just wide enough for two people to pass each other. It was built to access other paths. Compared to the very touristy Capalino Suspension Bridge, the Lynn Canyon Suspension  Bridge is a more peaceful place and you do not have to pay, and is much more less crowded.


• Lynn Canyon Park offers several beautiful hiking trails suitable for all skill levels.

• The Ecology Centre is a public building for learning about nature and history.

• The 30 Foot Pool is a very well know place to swim and relax on top of the rocks.

• The Twin Falls are gorgeous waterfalls nestled in the beauty of the rainforest.

• Pipeline Bridge is one of the additional entrance to Lynn Park and Rice Lake.


Route Description

After parking the car near the Ecological Center, immediately afterwards you reach the beginning of the route by crossing the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge on the Baden-Powell trail, suspended between the two banks of the rushing Capilano river and a spectacular balcony overlooks the bridge. scenery of the surrounding valleys covered with dense vegetation, canyons, waterfalls, the 50 Foot Pool and Capilano Creek.  

After crossing the magnificent bridge continue to the right which leads to the trail features lush rainforests with trees (red cedar and Douglas fir and other species) and moss-covered ferns with lots of moss go along go along a series of wooden boardwalks and the  trail descend down through a series of steps and staircases.

Then the trail  leads  to a signpost "Twin Falls", after crossing the bridge  you can see above the magnificent views of the waterfalls and the surroundings and then up a large set of steep of stairs. Then we follow a trail near the fence 'the canyon edge" on the other side and then back to where you started.

What a nice loop! With plenty of nature and I had a great time with my dog!
