The trail is a nice short hike to Quarry Rock that follows the Baden Powell trail from Deep Cove in North Vancouver and offers stunning views of Indian Arm and Belcarra.
Quarry Rock is a massive granite boulder and is one of Metro Vancouver's most popular day hikes and is known for crowds at the viewpoint.
The trail starts in Deep Cove but was closed by the district due to the November 2021 weather damage to bridges and stairs along the trail. We looked an alternative route from above on Indian River Road at the Baden Powell trail on the side of mount Seymour to Deep Cove. At the end of the hike we drove to the Gallant Wharf is a small village on the ocean is an amazing spot and a great views in Deep Cove. Finally we looked around the entrance of the trail in Deep Cove.
This great epic route is steep in places but is mostly boardwalk, a nice trail forest and dog friendly hike!
