ycle Rides along the stunning Milan's Canal Navigli Network on the four itinerary that goes from the hearth of Milan streets along the quiet canal-side roads. They are networks of cycling paths connecting the surroundings outside Milant through the countryside roads, a combination of on-street cycling routes, peaceful paths trails, and even through the land that inspired Leonardo da Vinci.

The Milanese canals are a system of artificial and navigable canals, built between the twelfth and sixteenth centuries, for purposes, that allowed the transport of goods in both directions through water clouser. The Navigli system connected Lake Maggiore, Como and the lower Ticino.

One of the most important deliveries was the pink marble used to build and maintain the Milan Cathedral. The marble came from the Candoglia marble quarries at the Ossola entrance.

The Navigli are a system of interconnected canals in and around Milan, in the Italian region of Lombardy, The system consists of five canals: Naviglio Grande, Naviglio Pavese, Naviglio Martesana, Naviglio di Paderno, Naviglio di Bereguard.

The canals are no longer used for navigation, but there are tours to do with the boat for guided visits. On the Naviglo della Martesa there are a couple of places to rent a kayak.

In the Navigli area you can admire the famous and typical houses of railing, typically Milanese houses that hide in the internal courtyards but are also scattered in other districts of Milan.

This area of Milan is a special area and the most popular for its nightlife and the best place for cocktail bars to gourmet restaurants open until late at night.
