The Nitobe Memorial Garden is a traditional Japanese tea and walking garden, located at the University of British Columbia.

This beautiful garden provides a peaceful stroll or sit (many benches) to enjoy the landscape which features ponds, Japanese structures and characteristic natural landscapes such as hills and streams, and a pavilions and tea houses.

Although it is not big it is very graceful and it is also very nice to see various types of birds and squirrels.

"Emperor Akihito of Japan when he entered through this garden he considered it one of the authentic Japanese gardens outside of Japan"
