Vancouver Island is an incredible destination surrounded by the Pacific Ocean. Victoria is the capital of British Columbia, located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island between the Juan de Fuca and Haro straits.
Juan de Fuca is a Marine Trail that is a multi-day hiking/backpacking route along some of British Columbia’s most pristine and stunning coastal landscapes. The route follows the coastline along SW Vancouver Island and is 47 Km. This trail is an alternate to the more famous West Coast Trail.
Our adventure started at the ferry from Tsawwassen Terminal in Vacouverl and arriving in Victoria/Swartz Bay Terminal/Vancouver Island and a long drive to the coast-line along Vancouver Island.
Arrived a Port Renfrew the route it is flanked by an enchanting panoramic zigzag road with parking and camping sites for all kinds of adventures.

Pacific Rim National Park is a park composed of three sections: Long Beach, The West Coast Trail and The Broken Group Of Islands. It is a amazing place - rain forests, many trails, beaches, wildlife, marine life and so much more.
Botanical Beach is located along the south west of Vancouver Island in the Juan de Fuca Provincial Park. There are many great beaches and this one has amazing tide pools and really fascinating marine biology forms and life of the sea shore.
Botanical Beach Loop Trail is in Juan de Fuca park. It is a a gorgeous easy walk at the edge of the ocean on the rugged coastline in Point Renfrew. Spectacular beaches, marine life, forest, lots of wildlife especially bears, view of the waves and many tide pools. The area has been used for resource by researchers from the University in BC and University of Washington, USA.
Ucluelet is situated on the edge of the Pacific National Park. It offers a great variety of outdoor activities where you can practice many activities such as hiking, surfing, fishing and boating. There is plenty to do.
Tofino is located on the remote west coast of Vancouver Island. It has so many beaches but Long Beach with over 30 Km. It is a true paradise beloved by surfers.
Cathedral Grove Trail is a short loop walk that takes you through a forest of giant trees. The largest are 800 years old, but most sprouted when a fire opened the forest about 300 years ago.
Fanny Bay is a small community situated on Baynes Sound on the eastern shore of Central Vancouver Island. There are nice hiking trails and water activities. It is also known for the world-famous Fanny Bay Oysters which are farm-raised Pacific Oysters and Manila clams. There are piles of oyster shells everywhere on the beach.
Coombs is a small community on Vancouver Island. The little village it has several heritage buildings, craft shops, antique stores and also known an old Country Market - Goats on a grass sod roof.
Englishman River Falls Provincial Park is located to the Southwest of Parksville. A nice picturesque Loop Trail thought an old cedar forest with, hemlock, maple, Douglas fir and two stunning waterfalls.
Malahat is a amazing lookout area a short (pull-off) from the road of the stunning views of the Island.
Malahat Skywalk is a about 35 Km from Victoria. It is a spiral tower experience.
Victoria is capital of British Columbia.
