Parco Franco Verga also known as Parco Certosa is located between the quarto oggiaro and musocco districts in Milan.
The name of the park is named after the politician Franco Venga. It is landscapedin an 54-acre park on old refinery land.
This is a park where you can enjoy the landscapes of the Lombard countryside created by Diana Armstong Bell who is an award winning landscape architect who collaborates on design projects, writes about landscape and place, practices art and lectures widely in the UK and Europe.
Inside the park, which is surrounded by fences, there are sports fields, squares, play areas, an off-leash dog area, benches, artificial lake and fountains, canals and cloister and in future others will open.
There is also the fitness trail and consists of 14 stations, which include free body exercises and structures. Each station has a sign with tips for exercises.
This park is a natured oriented, green corner of paradise!
