The Foreshore Trail in Pacific Spirit Park is a coastal walk with the wild charm beach trails in their natural state between land and ocean.
The trail can be traveled only on foot; the beach is itself a spectacle of nature and is formed by large and small pebbles/stones and sand with varied colours. The trail is a spectacle of nature on the edge of a 20 - 50m coastal cliff, with views of the sea, mountains, West Vancouver, Bowen Island a section of Point Grey and the and the surroundings.
The trail is spartan in places but ideal for the adventurous; it has a ragged, rocky shore, can be slippery and difficult to walk at times during high tides but is panoramic with wild and charm paths and panoramic views facing onto the open ocean.
Arcadia Beach is small stone - covered beach.
Wreck Beach is a naturalist oasis a small corner of paradise for nudists for lovers of naturism. There is no assistance service for bathers.
The are spectacular stairs with the view of the ocean to go up or down pretty long and well maintained.
The are two derelict WW II searchlight Towers along the beach covered with local artist graffiti and is one of Vancouver's more interesting historic sites. The searchlight towers were built to light up, target and coordinate defensive fire against potential invading enemy warships attacking Vancouver's harbour.
The route follows the coastal cliffs from Spanish Banks, around Point Grey via Acadia Beach and Tower Beach before ending at Spanish Banks.
Distance: 16.3 Km loop
