Vancouver is a city that can be easily visited by bike, discovering its points of interest in an easy and fun way, a continuous exploration of lesser known beauties and moreover you can reach magnificent places not accessible by car. You pedal to discover at your own pace.

It is certainly more practical and ecological to explore while enjoying the outdoors on a bicycle.

I cycled a mix combinations of roads (cycle paths, cycle lanes and road sections  with no bike lanes).

Although I have traveled this tour several times before, each time I return home having made a new discovery. Here is what I saw on my bike ride ….

⦿ Start and Finish - Terra Nova "Middle Arm" is located along the north shore of Richmond between the No. 2 Road Bridge and Terra Nova Rural Park.

*  Richmond Olympic Oval is  an indoor multi-sports arena

*  No. 2 Road Bridge is a crossing over the middle arm of the Fraser River, and River Rd

*  False Creek is a short inlet in the heart of Vancouver

*  Rogers Arena is  a multi-purpose arena

*  Chinatown is one of the largest historic Chinatowns in North America

*  Gastown Steam Clock is  antique-style clock is powered by steam & whistles to tell the time

*  Canada Place Cruise Ship Terminal is boat boarding point with panoramic harbor views

*  Coal Harbour is  a downtown area known for its marina, mountain views

* Stanley Park is s a 405-hectare public park that borders the downtown of Vancouver

*  Lions Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge that crosses the first narrows of Burrard Inlet and connects the City of Vancouver

*  Beach Avenue is a nice beach and nice bike lane

*  Granville Island is a peninsula

*  Planetarium

*  Vancouver Maritime Museum

*  Kits Pool is Vancouver only heated saltwater swimming pool (137-metre)

*  Larry Berg Flight Path Park is directly in line with the end of the south runway, nice spot to watch planes landing on top of you
