Como is a city at the southern tip of Lake Como in Lombardy. It's known for the Gothic Como Cathedral, a scenic funicular railway (cable car) that links Lake Como near the lake waterfront to the top of a hill in the little village of Brunate at 1894.m. The village of Brunate is located about 700 metetres above sea level.Brunate is also called the "Balcony on the Alps” where you can enjoy panoramic views of Lake Como and the surrounding area.

Lake Como has its charm, surrounded by mountains that you can admire, especially from the tops of the mountains. The extended branches of Lake Como approach the shores with historic houses and villas, along with plenty of campsites and paths with fresh air where nature still shows itself. This beautiful lake is an icon of past times, a corner of the flowing world with memories that leave enchanting emotions in my heart. When I am away from Lake Como, I find myself with so many precious memories with and intense desire that pushes me to come back ... You are my lake! :) - Patrizia -

I was lucky enough to be there during the Christmas for  La Citta' dei Ballochi "the City of Toys" 2021-2022 ( to walk through the streets of the Larian city and enjoy the enchantment in the context of the Christmas Spirit and to see a spectral sight consisting of thousands of lights and colors, between games, markets and wood houses.

The Magic Light Festival was wonderful - videos and music and everything else in Como, Wow!
