Steveston Heritage/Fishing Village sits at the mouth of the Fraser River and was once the largest fishing port and cannery centre on the West Coast. This is a lovely spot in Richmond, easily accessed from Vancouver by car.  It is a great for cycling, walks, several fishing village historic sites (Cannery Museum)  and is the place to have delicious Fish & Chips (Pajo’s Fish and Chips) and shops to explore. Steveston has been voted the best neighbourhood In Metro Vancouver!


Garry Point Park and Steveston Village is a popular filming location.

Here all the Highlights in Richmond with one by walking and the other by bicycle. In these outings with the bicycle I did not use the odometer. I often love going out without an odometer, it's a feeling of freedom, I love doing just like that every now and then :)

International Buddhist Society (Buddhist Temple). It is one of the largest Buddhist temples in North America. It has many large granite sculptures, beautiful gardens, stunning architecture and a restaurant serving vegetarian dishes. A beautiful and serine place!
