Monte Legnone and Monte Legnoncino, Lombardy, Italy

Monte Legnone at 2,609 meters high is the highest peak in the Lake Como area. It is possible to see it from both brianza and milan. The summit offers a breathtaking view of the lake and surrounding mountains. From Lake Como you can admire M. Legnone and is clearly visible from its gigantic pyramidal formation.

It took about 6hrs at a reasonable 3:10 pace to reach the summit and more or less the same descent time since the parts are difficult to descend.

Really beautiful excursion fascinated by the panoramic views!
