This trail is located in Burnaby and is sometimes called Burnaby's Grind. It's a nice short hike, a steep climb where the 500 wooden steps take you over the junction with the Pandora Trail to the top of Burnaby Mountain, also home to Simon Fraser. University.


The university which is surrounded by Burnaby Mountain Conservation Area which includes a large network of hiking trails and mountain bike trails. The park is a protected area designated to protect forests, wetlands, plant life water and hosts species of wildlife including coyotes, deer, eagles and also black bear and other species.


The path ends immediately after the end of the stairs, and reaching onto the Pandora Trail you arrive at the Kamui Mintara Playground of the Gods where there are some wooden sculptures created by Ainu sculptor Nuburi Toko and his son Shusei Toko. From this point of the hike you will enjoy the beautiful with stunning views of Indian Arm, Burrard Inlet and the Vancouver. It's a short hike, a good cardio exercise and also easy to follow and will be almost impossible to get lost!

The route starts from the parking lot at the Velodrome, from here follow the trail towards Burnaby mountain.
