The Hope Lookout Trail is also known as the Hope Grindis a steep  and challenging throughout the hiking route  that reaches a  panoramic viewpoint overlooking over the town of Hope including Kawkawa Lake and the Coquihalla and Fraser River. It's a spectacular hike and a good workout!

Hope is a pretty small town it lies at the confluence of the Coquihalla and Fraser rivers at the far east of the Fraser Valley is bordered by mountainous surroundings  in British Columbia. In the town of Hope there are scattered carved wooden statues and art installations carved by local artists and there is a chainsaw artist - Ryan Villeirs sculpted "Rambo Statue", a statue honoring a B.C. city where "First Blood" was filmed.

Near the town you can do one scenic walking destintion at the  historic and beautiful Othello Tunnels. The tunnels  are a series of old train tunnels originally built for railway access in the early 1900s, and bridges through the canyon and pass over the wild Coquihalla River. Unfortunately for now The Othello Tunnels are closed indefinitely due to storm damage.
