Dog Mountain Trail in North Vancoouver I British Columbia I Canada                                                              (Added 04/2024)

Dog Mountain is a popular and well-marked hiking  trail  is open year-round used for hiking, running and snowshoeing . It is not a long  hike  and is considered a moderately challenging route and  is located in Mount Seymour Provincial Park in Nord Vancouver, Britisch Columbia, Canada.

The trail winds gently between tall trees and big rocks, and the climb was very gradual and is covered with large slippery roots and after a few kilometers you arrive at First Lake and  then, you pass on a wooden bridge that crosses a small stream. After about an hour or more of climbing, the trees begin to thin out and we reached the rocky summit of Dog Mountain. Once you arrive at your destination, you will admire breathtaking views of Vancouver and the surrounding area from above.

The route is located approximately 50 minutes from downtown Vancouver and dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash. And on this hike I brought my dog and we had fun together!
