The Vancouver Pride Parade and Festival is an annual LGBT Pride event, held annually in Vancouver, British Columbia, to celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their allies.

Many people had shown their pride in this annual parade, and I had cycled as it was easier for me to participate in the event. It's great fun to see rainbow flags and umbrellas waving and the music blaring as the march passed along its route and the various slogans displayed on signs during the parade and celebrate messages of diversity and equality.

Beyond the parade there are events to attend it's a true day of Pride it's a day to get to know the community and support the freedom to love who I want to love and to defend freedom, dignity and equality for all. It was an amazing freedom party!
