The Museum of Anthropology (MOA) is nestled on the beautiful campus of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and is famed for its exhibits of world arts and cultures, especially works by First Nations of the Pacific Northwest. The modern architectural building was designed by Arthur Erickston and opened in 1978.

Located outside the MOA are the outdoor reproduction totem poles are monuments created by the First Nations of the Pacific Northwest to represent and commemorate ancestors, stories, people or events. In that corner of the place you can see the ocean and there are various paths for walking next to the ocean there is the beautiful path of The Foreshore Trail in Pacific Spirit Park, a coastal walk with the wild charm beach trails in their natural state between land and ocean.
