Fort Langley National Historic Site Fort Canada Tour In Langley I British Columbia I Canada (Added 04/2023)
Fort Langley National Historic Site Located in Lagnley, British Columbia on the banks of the Fraser River, the stockades of Fort Langley were a former fur trading fort built three times by the Hudson's Bay Company between 1827 and 1895.It is a living history museum with a fort recreated on the grounds of the original fort and with historical scenery to replicate past time periods.
It was an easy drive of about 50 km from downtown Vancouver and deespite the weather, it was pooring rain and it was almost the end or the closing hour. I went to pay at the entrance and they make me go in for free. It and was really interesting learning about this fort and it's history by reading the appropriate signs that had well-described descriptions and the best was not many people so had a good opportunity to browse though the site but there were not so any show, but they told me that I had to see only one where the blacksmith was doing a project. The staff were dressed in period costume and all staff were friendly and helpful.
This is a really interesting site to visit and you learn so much about trading and I recommend visiting it!
