Chiesa in Valmalenco is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the Italian region Lombardy. The adjacent neighborhoods are: Milan and Sondrio, on the border with Switzerland.

We arrive in Chiesa Valmalenco (985 m), and after parking we took the cable car to Alpe Palù (2078 m). It is a ski Area there are slopes for all levels, from beginners to experts.  

Today, we didn't ski but we walked through the snowy woods and admired the surrounding views, skirted the frozen Palu lake and then stopped at the Palù refuge for lunch and enjoyed the sunny day - Just had fun with friends and with my dog!
