Acquafraggia (also Acqua Fraggia) is located in Borgonuovo di Piuro of the province of Sondrio, Valchiavenna in Lombardy, north Italy. The Acquafraggia waterfalls originates at Pizzo di Lago, at 3,050 m. They are located in alpine valley of  Switzland and Itlay. They are situated very close to Chiavenna - a charming town.

There is a car parking lot nearby which makes it very easy to access the path leading to the picturesque waterfalls with a height of 130m.

It is an easy excursion and it is very nice to admire the falls from so close as surrounded by natural beauty!

It can also be a great place to stop for a picnic and to admire the stream up close and to have fun!
