Cypress Mountain is a ski area in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is a favorite among locals; not too far from Vancouver and some really amazing views. It is a great place to see the view of downtown Vancouver and surroundings. It is located only a half hour from downtown Vancouver via the upper levels highway.

There is a great viewpoint about halfway, and if you are lucky you will see wildlife (bear, deers).

Cypress is part of the elusive three peak climb — Cypress , Grouse and Seymour. I've done all three of them several times but I've always preferred Cypress!

It is a 10.5 kilometers gaining 668 meters at 6.4% average grade.
