Milan On Foot - Tour #3  Estate di San Martino/Indian Summer Loop Around Milan, Lombardy Italy  Page 4

We turned back and walked back to other corners of the great innovative and sustainable MilanoBAM Tree Library Milan (BAM - Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano) green park, the third largest park in the city of Milan. A real natural jewel surrounded by breathtaking scenery of very high architecture skyline and it is truly a place to relax among the colours and the surrounding greenery of the park!

Pasticceria Martesana is traditional and famous. They have a large selection of homemade desserts. If you are visiting Milan, this local chain is a place I recommend and they are also specialists in breakfasts!

The Central Station is the main railway station of Milan, the second largest in Italy for passenger flow and was built in the early years of Benito Mussolini's regime. A very tall structure which makes the monumental aspect very impressive both inside and outside and is full of paintings and statues. There are many shops inside, as well as a fairly large market with small restaurants, something like a food court. Of course worth visiting as a point of interest even if you don't travel by train or to explore as I did!

The Pirelli Skyscraper of Milan (32-storey, 127 m), one of the architectural symbols of the city, is located near the Central Station. Our Tour is now finished from its starting point Cassina de 'Pomm. Thank you so much "Grazie mille" Roberta for making me discover this magnificent tour and your company!
