Bicycle Tour Around Como Lake In Lombardy, Italy Part #2 Brienno - Argegno - Sala Comacina

After leaving the locality of Briella, the road suddenly takes me back to Strada Statale 340 Regina in the direction of Argegno. Argegno is a very beautiful and characteristic place and on the lakefront there are several restaurants, the small landing stage / ferry terminal of the lake and nearby is the cable car Funivia Pigra Argegno where you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Como.
I should have continued but unfortunately, part of the road was interrupted from Argegno to Sala Comacina a (short stretch about 5 km) to the town of Colonno due to roadworks works in progress along the Variante Tremezzina, the Regina state road was closed to traffic and therefore I went back and in Argegno where there was a ferry service for the Argegno - Colonno to Sala Comacina section.
Unhappily I had to stop to wait for the ferry which left after more than an hour and therefore I stopped in the warmth of the Cafeteria Club & Paninoteca a nice little place opposite where the ferries departed and after having asked the owner if he had a safe place to leave my bicycle and he kindly accompanies me and he made me put in a locked door, I left my bicycle and entered the place and sweated on a table near the window where I enjoyed a piadina and drank a coca cola and I got warm because I was cold!
After I embarked, the stretch of navigation was short with panoramic views of the coast and the pretty Comacina island set and it is the only one on the Lario, reachable only by boat/taxi boat or ferry from Ossuccio.
