Point Pleasant Park is an urban recreation and historic park situated at the southern tip of Halifax Peninsula. This beautiful and fascinating spot has a beach front park, many forest trails to explore and historical sites and memorials. The park was used by the military from the mid-1700s and ended after the First World War, but in the park there are several remains of ancient fortifications.
