IMy cycle tour began by leaving my friend's house and I make my way to Fairmount, where the Chain of Lakes Greenways begins and ended St. Margaret's Bay at The Train Station Bike & Bean in Tantallon and back in the same way. The trail passes numerous lakes and waterfall sites, offering excellent wooded views.

The Beachville Lakeside Timberlea Trail (BLT Trail) is located in Lakevoiew, near Halifax, Nova Scotia. It is a multi-use recreation trail/ The trail is an old railway and part of the Trans Canada Trail, Blue route and the Western Looop of the of Rum Runners Trail, going from Halifax to Lunenburg.

Both trails can connect onto the BLT to offer a longer-distance hike or bike route.
