Piazza Cordusio is a square then Via Dante  today is a pedestrian street with many stores, cafes and restaurants is a connecting route.

Piazza Castello is situated in front of the south eat entrance of Castello Sforzesco and there is a nice circular Fontana Torta degli Sposi / Fountain Cake of the Spouses. It is a popular meeting point.

Piazza Mercanti (Merchants Square) is a historic medieval square and was the central craft and commercial square and is an hidden gem is extremely close to the Duomo.
