The Medieval Village o Corenno Plinio is part of the municipality of Dervio, in the province of Lecco, Lombardia region.
Correnno Plinio is set along picturesque Lake Como, and is a quaint medieval village that is home to the walled Castello di Corenno Plinio, the 12th-century Church of San Tommaso di Canterbury, and panoramic water views from the Tower of Orezia.
The uncontaminated village retains its charm and its medieval character with its mix of stone houses and narrow streets that intertwine with the ups and downs on the ancient cobbled alleys and picturesque streetfronts that descend down to the lake where you can enjoy a magnificent postcard view of the lake and surrounding mountains.
It was incredible to wander in the fairytale village where peace was queen and history transpired in every corner. Time had suddenly stopped, as if no one lived in those ancient houses made of stone. A true corner of paradise!




















Here you walk between paths that flanked by houses that lead to the wonderful lake with breathtaking views of all the surroundings. Incredible!
