Corsica is a beautiful French island located in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The climate varies from the coast, mountains and valleys, with spectacular landscapes and breathtaking beaches that are visible and easy to reach to be discovered by bicycle like the hinterland and remote villages. It is an island full of culture which also includes the birthplace of the famous Napoleon Bonaparte.
We arrived at Bastia, Corsica from an overnight sailing from Genova, Italy. It is a lovely, picturesque port city.
The stages:
Casamozza - Barchetta - Ponte Novu - Ponte Leccia -
Inland to Corte, uphill, then down to Aleria campsite.
